Birds will enjoy pulling tufts of our sheep's wool from your decorative suet feeder to build a cozy nest. The soft wool provides a warm place for adult birds to rest and a cushion for their eggs.

To use, simply refill your metal suet cage with this wool from our sheep. This Babydoll sheep wool is hand washed using an all-natural plant based cleaner. The wool is hand carded and dye free.

You may notice some vegetation in the wool. This is a natural occurrence and is perfectly safe for birds to use.

Wool filled suet feeder

I gave it as a gift to a best friend in Western NY, after I had purchased one for myself, to use in TN, and love the beautiful design. It is so creative and special to have it filled with the babydoll sheep wool! My friend also adores it. She never has seen anything like it and her wild birds are using it, too!

Sweetest bird “helper » ever

The quality of this holder is typical 1818 - unparalleled!! Beautiful shade of green and I love the intricate pattern….and what made me cry was to actually touch the wool it holds knowing it is from the precious sheep I love watching….I can’t wait for refills! I also bought one as a gift that will hang on a tree in Texas!! I am so blessed and lucky 1818 is in my town!!!! ♥️♥️

the feeder itself is so pretty. i put the wool up for now and will put it out in the spring. can't wait to see who uses it.

Great Gift Idea!

What a great idea! Wool for the nest and then add suet and it becomes a feeder! Great add-on to any basket purchase!
