Keep it simple! That was our motto when we developed our Shea Creme Collection. So many lotions and moisturizers are packed full of ingredients that can't be pronounced. We made it our mission to create a moisturizer/cream composed of the most basic butters. We wanted a product that we couldn't live without in our daily skincare routine. After many batches and trials we developed just that product - 1818 Farms Shea Creme.

1818 Farms was recently selected as one of the prestigious Good Housekeeping’s 2023 Beauty Award winners, winning “Best Body Butter” for our coveted Shea Creme. The creme was applauded for its lightweight, “whipped” texture and moisturizing properties.

1818 Farms Shea Creme continues to be our best selling product. Customers love its light and fluffy texture. You know that you have a hit when customers reorder again and again.

We are especially proud of the fact that there are just three ingredients in the product: Shea Butter, Coconut Oil and an essential oil or fragrance.

We hand whip and hand package our Shea Creme in Alabama. Our Shea Creme is available in ten scents. This listing is for a 4 fl oz (118 ml) jar of Wedding Cake Shea Creme. The Wedding Cake scent reminds me of homemade sweet and fluffy buttercream icing. It smells divine! You will love the soft undertone of vanilla that makes this such a unique scent. Can I purchase your Shea Crème in a smaller size?

Our 2 fl oz Shea Crème is not available for individual sale, but is included in several of our Spa Kits and Shea Crème Sampler Sets.

Why isn’t my Shea Crème fluffy any more?

Our Shea Crème’s primary ingredients are Shea Butter and Coconut Oil and do not contain preservatives. When exposed to heat, the natural oils separate. Store your Shea Crème at room temperature to ensure that it keeps the whipped texture that you know and love.

Why doesn't the Shea Crème weigh 4 oz (or 8 oz)?

Our handcrafted Shea Crème is labeled by volume and not weight. A 4 fl oz or 8 fl oz jar will not weigh 4 ounces or 8 ounces. This is why the jar is labeled with the “fl” fluid in front of the ounce marking. We also have the equivalent ml designation printed on the jars, 118 ml and 236 ml, as the appropriate measurement of volume. When we make the Shea Crème, the ingredients are combined and heated into a liquid form. The Shea Crème is packaged into the jar as a liquid and the jar fill line indicates either 4 fl oz or 8 fl oz. We understand this can be confusing and hope this clears up any questions. This light and fluffy product is measured in volume not weight.

How much Shea Crème do I use in an application?

Our Shea Crème is extremely concentrated; a little goes a long way. A pea size amount of Shea Crème is enough to moisturize both hands.

What is the shelf life of your Shea Crème?

In an effort to keep our products as simple and natural as possible, we choose not to include artificial preservatives. Our products have a typical shelf life of one year.

Does your Shea Crème require refrigeration? Why do you sometimes ship my order in a cooler?

Because our products do not contain preservatives, the ingredients can separate when exposed to heat. To protect the integrity of your favorite 1818 Farms products, please keep them at or below room temperature, or 76°F.

Why do you use fragrances in some of the Shea Crème scents? What types of fragrances do you use?

All of our fragrances have been thoroughly tested and are free of parabens and phthalates. We utilize essential oils in our products whenever possible, however some scents are difficult to emulate without the use of fragrances.

Is your Shea Crème organic?

While our products are not certified organic, they are handcrafted with 100% therapeutic and spa grade ingredients.

Is your Shea Crème all natural?

At 1818 Farms, we strive to give you the best possible products with the fewest and simplest ingredients possible. Our mission is to get back to the basics and educate our followers on the importance of knowing what we apply on our skin. You will likely recognize every ingredient listed on the label. Lisa's Shea Creme Order

I love this product ! It is natural without any chemicals and it's what I look for in products that I put on my body. The creme goes on smooth and penetrates my skin to keep it soft. I give these cremes out as birthday gifts and at bridal showers and everyone loves them. Soon as my jar gets low I order more. And the Wedding Cake scent is wonderful !

Great travel size and scent

I keep the larger sizes at home but use the smaller for travel- great on planes as it is not a liquid and thus doesn’t require special handling. Love how it feels on my skin, and the smell is amazing!
