Join us for a hands-on workshop where you'll create a stunning, heart-shaped wreath decorated with dried flowers. Using a 12 x 13-inch wire frame, participants will work with an array of vibrant dried flowers grown at the farm. Varieties will include statice, broomcorn, strawflower, celosia, eucalyptus, nigella, and gomphrena.

To start, the frame will be covered with Spanish moss, creating a natural base for your design. From there, you'll learn step-by-step techniques to arrange and secure your wreath using these beautiful blooms.

Whether you’re looking to enhance your seasonal décor or simply enjoy a creative afternoon, this workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike. All materials and tools are provided.

Dried Flower Cloud Workshop

The workshop was very informative and a lot of fun. Natasha is a great instructor. She led us through step by step while allowing us to use our own creativity. She also provided information on the methods of drying flowers from planting to the actual drying. A great class. Diane Bavis

Dried Flower Cloud Workshop

Attending the “flower cloud” workshop at 1818 Farms was a wonderful experience. From the moment you walk onto the property, there is a sense of peace and beauty. From the nearby chickens and sheep to the grounds, flowers, structures and staff, 1818 Farms is friendly and inviting. The workshop was very informative. We heard about flower drying techniques, toured the drying room and shop, created a “flower cloud” and even got to cut some flowers from the fields for our own drying experiment. The staff members supplied everything we needed to be successful, including supplies, instructions, encouragement, and space to be creative. I highly recommend this workshop and the entire 1818 Farms experience.
