Alex Herring’s Pick: Smooth as Butter
Some people only have to deal with dry, cracked skin during the winter, but sadly for me, it’s a daily part of my existence no matter the season. If I forget to moisturize in the morning, my hands are sure to remind me of my negligence later on in the day.
While visiting the American Made Collective showrooms at AmericasMart last week, I came across 1818 Farms’ popular shea cremes. Although I was already familiar with the brand, I’d never tried any of their products before. As soon as I rubbed a small dab of the moisturizer on my hands, however, I could see why this was one of the company’s bestselling items. With its light, fluffy texture and minimal ingredients list, this product is gentle enough to soothe my rough skin. Not to mention, the Citrus Breeze-scented cream smells fantastic!
