Enjoy the beauty of our farm grown dried blooms during our Flower Cloud Workshop. A dried flower cloud is a decorative arrangement designed to look like a fluffy, floating, three dimensional structure. This floral art-piece is perfect to display on a tabletop, counter or mantle.
During the workshop you will learn the basic steps to craft a whimsical sphere of dried flowers into a flower cloud and tips for drying vibrant flowers at home. The sphere is elegantly suspended from a 12-inch metal hoop that is mounted in a wooden stand.
This workshop combines artistry and nature, allowing you to create a unique, decorative piece that you get take home and lasts all year long.

Attending the “flower cloud” workshop at 1818 Farms was a wonderful experience. From the moment you walk onto the property, there is a sense of peace and beauty. From the nearby chickens and sheep to the grounds, flowers, structures and staff, 1818 Farms is friendly and inviting. The workshop was very informative. We heard about flower drying techniques, toured the drying room and shop, created a “flower cloud” and even got to cut some flowers from the fields for our own drying experiment. The staff members supplied everything we needed to be successful, including supplies, instructions, encouragement, and space to be creative. I highly recommend this workshop and the entire 1818 Farms experience.
