Eating at the new trough/hay rack
Today my dad built a feeding trough/hay rack for the lambs so they wouldn’t have to eat off the floor and reinfect themselves from their manure. Also, he attached tethers to Lulu and Buttercup, the greedy “Golden Girls,” to keep them from pushing out Daisy and Static, the two smaller lambs.
We turned the lambs out to eat grass for the first time since they arrived and we hope it doesn’t upset their stomachs anymore. Just 20 minutes at a time until they are completely over the coccidiosis. Daisy is still not well.
