I waited patiently to collect stool samples from all animals to take to the large animal vet in Cullman, Dr. Little. Buttercup and Lulu have coccidiosis (internal parasites), a very contagious and dangerous disease. I am to treat all the lambs with a Corid drench (using a syringe) for five days. Shipping stress and change in diet often induce outbreaks of coccidiosis. Tuesday, May 22, I re-wormed all lambs and goats and put them in their stalls for 48 hours. They are not happy! And neither am I with all the mucking out I have to do!
